My Office Products

This weeks mug is from My Office Products and featured their sister site: memosmiddaymarkdown.com. The left side of the mug features a large dark silhouette of a bone at the top along with the web site for the company above the logo for My Office Proucts.  Below that is the caption, "A HiTough Company".  I'm happy to post this mug as I picked it up just last weekend.
When hot liquid is added, the bone shape clears to show the phrase "SAVE TODAY, GONE TOMORROW!"

This mug is almost new. The color change is fast, uniform and complete. A beautiful addition to the collection.

Embassy Entertainment / Nelson Entertainment

This week's mug comes from Nelson Entertainment. On the Right side, the logo of Nelson Entertainment is a beautiful gold on black.  (The rim is also gold.)

On the left side of the mug is the logo for Embassy Entertainment, or at least there would be the logo for Embassy Entertainment if it hadn't been worn almost completely off.  Below that is the phrase "Embassy Entertainment is Now!'"

Below this is an old style television with a dark blue screen. (From what my research shows, the dark blue covers the entire screen.  As you can see, this is one of those mugs that someone has microwaved and the ink no longer changes when hot liquids are put in the cup.)

When hot liquid is added, the blue clears to reveal the logo for Nelson Entertainment. The mug was issued at the time when Nelson and Embassy were merged. Though Embassy would later close its doors in 1986, the Nelson/Embassy name would be well known long past that date.

Zithromax Prescription Medicine

This week's mug comes from a pharmaceutical company, Pfizer Labs.  On the right side of the mug is the name "Zithromax" below the common prescription instructions "once a day for five days."  Below the name is the common name "Azithromycin"

On the left side of the mug is a large dark area above a diagram of a pair of human lungs showing inflamed areas in bright red.  Below the diagram it says "Chronic Bronchitis" also in bright red.  This mug is in only average condition, as you can see the large dark area is not as opaque as it should be.

When hot liquid is added, the dark area clears to again show the dosage, with little pills driving home the message.  Additionally, the red areas of the lungs clear to show  a healthy lung, and the words below the diagram disappears, too reiterating the message of what Zithromax cures.

One of the very few two color designs, this mug was given out by the pharmaceutical company to advertise their product and drive home the message of how it should be used.
