Champ Tires (This one Works!)

This week's mug is from Champ Tires and is one I had completely forgotten I had.  This is the 'working' copy of the mug I posted last August.  On the left side of the mug is an outline of the US with a road visible at the top.  Beneath it is the phrase "We've Got You Covered!"

When hot liquid is added, the dark area clears to reveal the large 'road' of the Champ logo as it stretches across the country.  Also visible are several fun icons such as sunglasses, a For Sale sign and the figure of a man. 

The color change is excellent and it's a perfect side by side companion to the other 'non-working' mug.  There are several mug designs which I've ended up having two of, but did not post it twice.  In this case, as one doesn't work and the other does. I think I'm justified in posting both.

Balan Chemical Herbicide

This week's mug is a full wrap around design by Balan, a company known for creating herbicides and fertilizers.  The mug shows a wrap around dark area above a black band.  On the left side of the mug, in the black band is the name Balan.

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the dark area clears totally to show a bunch of grass growing tall and green.  There is no history on the mug, but it could be guessed that the mug was most likely given to wholesalers or other customers.  The color change is about average, though good enough to enjoy.

Day / NIght Earth

This week's Magic Mug is a Christmas Gift from my daughter who knows my love of these things! This mug I have never seen before and features a full dark mug with pinpoints of light showing the earth at night.  It is a full wrap around design and the black even covers the handle.

When hot liquid is added to the mug the entire dark area clears to reveal the earth during day time!  The color change is spectacular and you can even see the blue waters of the oceans creeping up the handle. If the handle got hot enough, the whole handle would be blue.

Pipracil IV/IM

This is another mug with the unfortunate fact that the color change no longer works. The mug features the name of the medicine PIPRACIL IV IM and its chemical name Pipracillin Sodium/Lederle above a large dark rectangle. 

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the rectangle would clear revealing some drawings of the type of virus killed by the medicine.  Again, kept as a constant reminder that magic mugs do not belong in a microwave. Check out the care and use under "Mug Maintenance" above.
