Lenox Christmas Mug #1

This mug is a wonderful addition and is from Lennox.  The mug is a Christmas Design and (as far as I can tell) is one of four designs in a series.  On both the right and left are the stylized words: 

FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA w

with holly leaves decorating the bottom.  

When hot liquid is added to the mug, some of the LA LA LAs change to red!  Very elegant! 

This mug even comes in a full color box!

Bumblebee Movie - Transformers

This week's mug is another movie tie-in mug from the Transformer series.  It specifically ties into the Bumblebee Transformer movie.  The right side of the mug has a drawing of Bumblebee himself, in a beautiful yellow and blue.  The left side of the mug is blank. 

When hot liquid is added, the blank side of the mug clears to reveal the logo associated with Bumblebee, "B127."  

The mug is brand new and comes in its own retail display box.

Star Wars Lightsabers

This is another really well designed mug with a full wrap around design.  The mug features the logo from the movie series Star Wars on the left and right sides of the mug.  All around the bottom edge are the different Light Sabre handles of all the known Jedi Knights and Siths in the Star Wars movies.  

When hot liquid is added to the mug, each of the Light Sabres is lit up, showing their individual colors of red, green blue and purple.  

The mug comes in a full color box, too!

Personalized Family Mug

This is a terrific addition to any collection, but also to any home.  My kids had this magic mug made especially for me.  It looks like a typical mug with a black and white photo on the sides of this all red mug.  (Pictures of my own kids and grandkids*)  There are two shots, one 'action' shot on the right and a posed portrait type on the left.  

When hot liquid is added to the mug - SURPRISE! The red color fades completely !  This leaves the pictures in full color!  This is the new style thermochromic mug, where the entire mug is covered in thermochromic ink. Even the edge of the handle, where it touches the hot mug is turned white by the heat. (Now, honestly, if this were a black mug, the photo would be hidden entirely, but I love this one and it has a special place in the collection and in my heart.)

*If you view the pictues full sized, you will notice that the faces are obscured.  This is both for security and to keep them from becoming too famous.  😇

SPECIAL INCLUSION: MAGIC TEAKETTLE!

Thanks to a very dear friend who loves to send me things for my collection, I now have this incredible Chefman Magic Ink Electric Teakettle!  

The unit is brand new, and holds 1.7 liters. The color appears to be a dark brown in these pictures, but is actually near black.

Once plugged in, the unit heats up quickly and the entire body changes from dark to bright red.  I was very impressed with the speed at which is heated a full pot! 

The teakettle sits on its own base to heat. Lifts off to serve. 

As said, it's brand new, complete with this great box and manual.

Attack on Titan

This mug is from an anime (Japanese Style Animation) series called ATTACK ON TITAN. The anime is set in a world where humanity lives within cities surrounded by enormous walls that protect them from gigantic man-eating humanoids referred to as Titans.  One person sets out to fight the titans after one destroys his home city.  This is the reason for the word FIGHT, which appears wrapped around the mug in a bold black font. 

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the black letters clear to reveal full color scenes from the animated series.  

The mug is brand new, and comes in its own special 'mug style' box.

Batman and The Bats

This is another Batman mug, but one with the new style.  The mug is all black, with the very recognizable Batman Logo on both the left and right side of the mug. Also interesting is that the insides of the mug is light blue (where most of this type are white!) 

When hot liquid is added to to the mug, the entire mug clears to reveal Batman in comic form along with his many, many bats!  The comic covers the entire 3 sides in a wrap around design. The Batman logos remain in the center of both sides of the mug. Unlike many mugs of this new style, the handles do not change.  

This mug comes with a full color retail box! A very nice addition when finding new mugs!
