Electronic Messaging with AGT

No, you're not seeing an old post! Last week I posted a mug from a company called AGT and this mug is from the same company! 

On the main side of the mug is the phrase "Electronic Messaging from AGT" along with the company's logo.

ON the reverse side is a picture of a computer and keyboard.  The screen of the computer is a dark brown. 

Once hot liquid is added, the computer screen clears to reveal the name ENVOY 100. ENVOY 100 is the name of the text messaging system AGT created for Wireless Text Messaging.  It was introduced in 1984 and utilized a hand held messaging device about the size of one of today's 7" tablets, but thicker and with its own antenna.

Stay in touch with AGT

This is another very old mug from a company named AGT.  Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any information on the company,other than the name.  The front of the mug has the phrase "Stay in touch with AGT" along with the company logo.  

On the reverse side of the mug is a push button telephone (remember those?) with a dark area across the front. 

When hot liquid is added, the dark area turns clearer showing the name "Exten Voice Messaging." The dark area is a bit old, and not near as opaque as it should be, but it's still a great design.  I only wish I had more information on the company.

Supelco - Peak Performance

The front of this mug shows the name SUPELCO along with their logo and a sort of graph you might see on a business website. This is one of those surprising finds.  I fully expected to find out that this mug was from some oil company.   You can imagine my surprise to find out that Supelco is part of the Sigma-Aldrich group and is a company specializing in chromatography.  From their website:

          From our main facility in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, USA, we research, manufacture, and
          supply chromatography columns and related tools for environmental, government, food
          and beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical, and chemical laboratories.
  

When hot liquids are added, the whole dark background clears to sow another stylized graph and the words "Delivers Peak Perforance." This mug was, most likely a free incentive for customers or prospective customers. Color change is complete and near perfect.

Western Sunrise Mortgage

This mug is from Western Sunrise Mortgage, a mortgage company located in Nevada, but is no longer in business.  On the main side of the mug is the company's logo in a larger dark area along with the words "Western Sunrise Mortgage."

On the back of the mug is a large dark area with the words "AT WESTERN SUNRISE" around a light colored circle. 

When hot liquid is added, the entire dark area and circle clear to show the words "We don't need magic to work miracles."  Also now visible is the Western Sunrise Logo inside a bright circle.  The color change is near complete and the mug is in great shape.
