This mug falls into one of the larger categories, namely Medical or Pharmaceutical advertising. Most, if not all, of these mugs are given to Doctor's offices to advertise a new medicine. Though many of the mugs used in this manner are NOT Magic Mugs, many are.
For the record, GEODON is a prescription medicine used to treat episodes associated with bipolar disorder and can also be used to treat schizophrenia. The mug shows a reather scrambled scribbled design which clears when hot to show a set of musical notes.
