This week's mug is another in a long line of mugs made for prescription drugs which were given out to doctors when a new drug is introduced. In this case, Unasyn or 'ampicillin sodium/sulbactam sodium) which is an injectable
antibacterial treatment. Also on the left side of the mug is the phrase "B fragilis BUSTER" (B fragilis is also known as Bacteroides fragilis.) Above all the Latin is a drawing of three of the Bacteroides fragilis in orange.
On the right side of the mug is the logo or insignia for Unasyn and it's Latin equivalent.
When hot liquid is added to the mug, the orange bacterium turn clear to again show the name and Latin equivalent for the medicine. A beautiful mug in this group.
