Safety & Environmental Awareness

This is an interesting mug for Safety Awareness.  I'm not sure if this is a company or just a slogan that was put on the mug for awareness.  The main design shows a man on a ladder, putting up a billboard. The ink is mostly red, with a big painted dark area on the billboard. Above the 'painted' area is "You Need It On The Job, At Home, And On The Road."  When hot liquid is poured in the mug, the painted area clears to show the big word "SAFETY."

On the back of the mug is the title "SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS" and near the bottom is the phrase "Don't throw away a good idea RECYCLE!"
I can't help but feel that this side of the mug is missing something. There is a large space in the middle as if waiting for a logo, or company design of some sort.  Though I can find nothing on this mug, it seems as if it was sold to companies who would then add their corporate logo on the back for issue to their employees/clients.

Events Unlimited

This is a mug from Events Unlimited.  The thermo ink has almost stopped working, but it's stilll a nice mug, The front shows a dark design surrounded by some stars and the Caption "WE MAKE MAGIC."  When hot, the shape clears showing a top hat with a rabbit peaking out and the following ad copy:
From Nashville to the World
From Concept to Completion
From Clowns to Black Tie

Singulair Prescription Medicine

This mug is another medicinal advertising mug from Merck Pharmaceuticals. It is for Singulair, a medicine for the prevention of asthma attacks.  The mug shows the silhouette of a man carrying a briefcase and looking at his watch. Beside it is the phrase "Stay Alert!" When this 'shadow' clears, the man shape is now light colored with the phrase "Stay Ahead of Singulaire!"
This is a standard mug, one sided and was most likely a fee giveaway to advertise the Singulaire product.

Ultram Prescription Medicine

This is one of my more interesting Magic Mugs. It is for Ultram, a prescription pain medication. On the front of the mug is a large Monarch Butterfly, with a solid color block below.  When heated, the block clears showing the tag "CHANGE FROM NSAIDS"   The thing that makes this mug so interesting is the small amount of magic in the mug design. The small bar at the bottom of this design is the total amount of thermochromic ink used.

On the back of the mug it shows the Ultram Logo, complete with butterfly and below, the designation "(ramadol Hydrochloride Tablets)"  This is another of those mugs given away by the manufacturer to advertise their product.

107.5 The River

This magic mug is from a radio station here in Nashville, Tennessee.  It shows the stations frequency, 107.5, in white against a large field of black, the black area being the thermochromic ink.  When hot, the black clears to show the moniker "The River" and again the frequency "107.5

This is a typical advertising mug, given away as a premium or to advertisers on the channel.

Trevecca Nazarene College

This magic mug is from Trevecca Nazarene College, located in Nashville, Tennessee (USA).  The mug has an odd shaped block on one side of the mug, with the words Trevecca Nazarene College beneath.  When hot, the odd shaped block clears to show  the college's Student Life Center and the phrase "THANKS fo your Gift"  It is evident that this mug was given to those who donated a certain amount of money to the building or retrofitting of the Student Life Center (though I cannot find any history on this, it just seems right.)
