Merrell Dow Lakeside - Safety

This mug comes from Merrell Dow Corporation, Lakeside location. This is a mug used to promote safety, and was probably a corporate award or giveaway.  On the main side (left) there is a large red triangle inside of which is another white triangle and a shape of a person with a red heart on its chest. Below the white triangle are the words Action - Attitude - Awareness. Below the triangle are three medium brown bars separated with narrow stripes.  At the bottom is Merrill Dow and Lakeside.  

When hot liquid is added the three dark bars clear to show the phrase "MAKE SAFETY A HABIT FOR LIFE!"

The mug is in great condition and the change is also good.

I'm A Nurse

This beautiful mug is a retail mug designed for Nurses.  On both the right and the left side of the mug is a large dark cross with the words "I'm  A Nurse."

When hot liquid is added, the cross clears and shows a cartoon hypodermic needle and a big pink fanny with a heart on it.  It also has the phrase "So... Bend Over!"  A wonderful whimsical mug in great condition.  Color change is good and colors are vivid.

Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games

This mug is from the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Summer games.  It features a full wrap around design of the Atlanta 1996 Games Logo with two large dark green ovals on the left and right sides. 

When hot liquid is added, the two large ovals clear to reveal the Atlanta 1996 and Olympic Flame Logo on both sides.

These mugs were sold at the Atlanta Olympics in onsite shops as well as around Atlanta in other retail gift shops and souvenir shops.  The condition is excellent and the color change is near complete.

State Farm - No Frozen Pipes

This week's mug is from Sate Farm and covers the subject of frozen pipes.  On the right side of the mug is a design of a blue buster symbol made out of pipes. Beneath this is the title "No Frozen Pipes."

On the left side of the mug is the main design.  The title "Frozen Pipes" along with the information on this 'preventable disaster:'

In the lower left of this side is a burgundy square with white letters which says "How cold will it get tonight?" To the right of it is the Blue Pipe Buster symbol from the other side along with the State Farm Insurance logo. 

When hot liquid is added, the burgundy square disappears to show more information in red:

"Pipes can freeze AND
break at 20° F/-6 C"

The color change is near complete and fast! Very great condition (AND, as I have State Farm insurance, it's a great addition to my collection!)

Hermitage Home of Champions

This week's mug features the phrase "Hermitage, Home of Champions" on the right side of the mug. 

On the left side of the mug is an odd shaped sillhouette.  

When hot liquid is added, the odd shaped silhouette clears to show the figure of a bee or hornet with the letter H on its chest.  

A quick search on the internet shows that this could be either from Hermitage, Missouri or Hermitage Pennsylvania as both school districts use the Hornet as their mascot.  

The mug is in great shape and the color change is near complete.
