NyNex Allink

This week's mug is from NYNEX (a telephone company which served 5 New England States from 1984 to 1997) which introduced their management tool Allink in 1994.  On the right side of the mug is the logo for NYNEX and the name Allink.
On the left side of the mug is drawing of a chaotic grouping of computers and equipment.
When hot liquid is added to the mug, the drawing completely clears to reveal the name and logo again NYNEX Allink and a stylized globe. Below this is the phrase "The network management solution."

This mug is in great shape although the color change is only about average.

COMDISCO

This week's mug is from a world leader, Comdisco.  The mug features the corporate logo, above which is the phrase "At Upgrade Time" and the company name below.  In front of the logo, obscuring it slightly is the figure of a hunched over worker.

When hot liquids are added to the mug, the back of the figure clears to reveal the phrase "We won't turn our backs on you."

The mug is in good condition, though the color change is not as good as I'd like.  Comdisco went bankrupt just this last year, so this is sort of a nice collector's piece.

TMS - New Orleans 1989

This week's mug is a bit of a mystery.  The company TMS doesn't seem to exist anymore, and I cannot find any history on it at all.  The mug features a large dark area above what can be construed to be the corporate logo "TMS."

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the area above the logo clears to reveal a 'mardi-gras' style mask and the words "New Orleans 1989."  This suggests that the mug was a souvenir from some convention or seminar held by "TMS" in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1989.  As I say, nothing else is found.

The mug is in good condition, though the color change is not as complete as new.

S.M. Stoller Corporation

This week's mug is another microwave damaged mug, but still shows what a great design it had.  It is from the S.M. Stoller corporation and shows an all-in-one type computer with a dark screen. Below the computer is the name "The S. M. Stoller Corporation" and "a subsidiary of Arthur D. Little, Inc. and a phone number.

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the screen clears to reveal the phrase "The World's only proven unmanned [unkn] access door control system."   Some of the information is unreadable, but the design shows a lot.
