Oversized Day of the Dead Mug

 

Today's mug is an oversized 20 ounce mug. It shows a dark skull on each of the three sides. Each of the skulls is a slightly different shape.  

When hot liquid is added, the skulls clear to show individual designs of Day of the Dead Sugar skulls.  The mug is brand new, so the change is quick and complete.  It's a beauty. 

Being brand new, the mug even comes in it's own full color box.

Elf - World's Best Cup of Coffee

 

Just in time for the Holidays, we have this great mug.  This is the new style of mug which appears solid black on all sides of the mug, including the handle.  

When hot liquid is added, the mug clears.  On the right side of the mug is a picture of the main character of the Movie "Elf", played by Will Ferrell.  On the left side, is the phrase "World's Best Cup of Coffee." This is also from the movie.  

The mug came in a great box!

Star Wars 40th Anniversary

This week's mug is an oversized mug celebrating Star Wars' 40th Anniversary.  The mug has the '40th' logo  on the right side of the mug decorated with the Star Wars' iconic Luke and Leia symbolically posed.  The color pose on the left side of the mug is partially covered with the thermo ink. 

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the entire mug lightens to show the poster for the movie Star Wars.  The band around the 40th logo lightens slightly. 

This mug comes in a special retail display box.

Active / Sleeping Kitty

 This mug is another wonderful addition to the collection.  It is a sort of Night and Day, showing a sleeping kitty on a pillow when the mug is cool.  The dark background represents 'night.' 

When the mug is hot, with lot liquid added, the entire mug clears and we see the kitten during the day, playing and thinking of food. 

I have no history for this mug, but it's cute as all get out.

Mister Rogers Changes His Sweater

This mug is a great addition to the collection and is of that great TV personality, Mr. Rogers.  On the left side of the mug shows many of the recognizable phases and teachings of this great TV Personality.  It also shows Mr. Rogers himself in his iconic sweater, this one is black.   

When hot liquid is added to the mug, Mr. Rogers' black sweater clears to show that he is now wearing a light brown sweater.

Friends - How You Doin?

This mug is from one of my favorite TV Shows, FRIENDS.  The mug appears totally black on both sides. On the right is the iconic phrase used by one of the show's characters (Joey) "How you doin?" and on the left, at the top is the F·R·I·E·N·D·S Logo. 

 When hot liquid is added, the black area clears to show a green background with a drawing of New York city, where the show took place.  The NYC design runs all the way around the mug. 

It even has it's own full color box!

Lennox Christmas Mug #3 Tis the Season to be Jolly

This is the last of my Lennox Christmas Mugs (at least for now)  I'm pretty sure this is a set of 4, and hope one day to find the missing member to the group. This mug features the words "TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY" in green, on both sides, decorated with holly sprigs. 

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the words "SEASON and JOLLY" turn from green to red. (Actually more of a dark pink. Not as red as the box suggests.) The mug is brand new, with the sticker still visible on the inside of the mug.

As mentioned above, the mug comes in its own full color retail box, also in excellent condition.

Lennox Christmas Mug #2 - Dashing Through the Snow

Continuing with last month's mug, this is the second of the Lennox Christmas Mugs. On both sides of the mug, beneath some Christmas Holly, are the words "DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW, IN A ONE HORSE OPEN SLEIGH." in a nice holiday green.  

When hot liquid is added to the mug, some of the words "DASHING, SNOW, and SLEIGH" all change from green to red. (Ok, so maybe a pink, it's not as red as it shows on the box, though it is a brand new mug.) 

AND speaking of box, this mug also comes in its own full color box!
