WHERE'S MY COFFEE?

This is another one of those great retail mugs by JSCo.   The cold mug shows a field of frowning faces with the headline "WHERE'S MY COFFEE?" Some of the frowning faces have a red background and others have a yellow background matching the yellow of the mug itself.. (Note: this is one of the few non-white ceramic mugs in my entire collection.)

When hot liquid is added, all the frowning faces clear to show happy faces and the band across the top clears to show "Ahhhhhh..."

I Heart Beanies Magic Mug

Beanie Babies. Remember them?  At one time, collectors were paying major dollars for the little stuffed critters.  And, in the middle of that craze, this mug was available from retailers.  The mug shows a big red heart on two sides.

 

When hot liquid is added, the heart clears showing the phrase "I Love Beanies!" The color change is quick and the ink is nice and opaque.

For some strange reason, I have 4 of these mugs (the photo above is of one mug, not all 4.)  I hope to use 3 of them for trading should the occasion ever arise.

Home & Garden Television

This mug is from HGTV (Home and Garden Television.) It is a 1-Plus design, with the main HGTV logo on one side and the color changing design on the other side.  The Color changing side shows a house surrounded by dark. 

When hot liquid is added, the dark area around the house clears to show a bright sun-shiny day with birds and flowers.  The color change is quick and bright.  I have no history on this mug and can only assume that it was a corporate freebie given either to new clients or to employees as incentive, award or reward.

Irish Claddagh Mug by Wondermugs

This is a beautiful mug from Wonder Mugs. It is a 2 sided design, with big solid dark colored 3-leaf clovers on both sides, surrounded by smaller green clovers.  The lip of the mug is accented with gold (though I am unsure as to whether this is REAL gold or not.)

When hot liquid is added, the big clovers will turn clear to reveal a patter of Irish Claddagh Rings.  This traditional design consists of two clasped hands holding a crowned heart, and symbolizes love, friendship and loyalty.  This mug is in excelent condition and the color changes are quick and bright.  One of my faves.
