UPS

This week's mug comes from UPS (United Parcel Service) and features the UPS Logo on the right side of the mug, above the phrase "WE RUN THE TIGHTEST SHIP IN THE SHIPPING BUSINESS."

On the left side of the mug is a standard UPS Delivery truck driving up an incline, below which is a large dark triangle.  

When hot liquids are added, the triangle clears to show both a UPS branded airplane and a double tractor trailer rig accenting the size and scope of the UPS fleet.  

This is one of my first mugs and the color change is good, though not as clear as I'd like.   UPS gave these mugs out to companies they did business with as well as to employees.

Chocolate Passion

This week's mug features an almost full wrap around design, showing a chocolate bar with the label reading "Chocolate Passion" and "The Chocolate Lover's Chocolate" in stylized print.

On the left side of the mug the chocolate bar is unwrapped and a bite has been taken out of it in the upper corner.

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the chocolate bar area clears to reveal the phrase "I Love You Even More Than CHOCOLATE!"

This mug was a retail purchase mug, available in gift stores.  The color change is good, and the mug is in great shape overall.

Phillips Builders

This week's mug is from Phillips Builders, Inc.  On the left side of the mug is a dark area in the shape of a house.  In the center is the name Phillips Builders, Inc.  Just to the left of the design is their logo.

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the house shape clears to reveal the corporate name change, "Formerly Randall Phillips and Phillhall Corp."  These mugs were given out to commemorate and establish the name change during the late 80's.

The mug has a unique 'half wrap around' design, with the logo on the front of the mug.  The color change could  be better, but it's good enough to show.

Evolution by Design

This mug is from a design campaign called "Evolution by Design."  The left side of the mug has the name "Evolution by Design" above a logo featuring a 91.

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the dark logo design clears to reveal the phrase "Make it Happen." Little can be found on this campaign so I will refrain from guessing.  I enjoy the mug for its design and it's a great addition to the collection.

NSD Partnership

This week's mug is from IBM.  On the left side of the mug is a large dark area with NSD in the upper left and a big Buster symbol across the word 'COMPETITION.'

On the right side of the mug is the Logo Name IBM with the bullet points "Flexibility, Reliability and Availability."

When hot liquid is added to the mug the dark clears (well, it's supposed to clear) and leave the statement "NSD...in Partnership with our customers."  In the center is a pair of shaking hands.

The mug is in good condition, but the color change is less than average.  I like keeping mugs like this in the collection regardless of their condition.

Fanny Mae

This week's mug is from the Federal National Mortgage Association, also commonly known as Fannie Mae. Fannie Mae is a United States government-sponsored enterprise and, since 1968, a publicly traded company. The mug advertises LASER program, which is an internal reporting system owned by Fannie Mae.  the mug features the identifier "Fannie Mae's LASER" inside a darkened frame.  

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the rectangle clears to add the phrase "IS HOT STUFF."  The mug was given to lenders and customers of Fammie Mae during the introduction of LASER in the early 1990s.  The mug is in good condition, and has an average color change.

K-Lyte & K-Lyte DS

This week's mug is from K-Lyte.  The left side of the mug shows the phrase "The Best of Taste" above a large dark square area with white letters that say KyLyte  and K-Lyte DS.  

When hot liquid is added to the mug, the dark area clears to show a drawing of an orange with a straw stuck in the top, indicative of the medicine's orange flavor.  K-Lyte is a mineral supplement produced by Brystol Myers and used to treat or prevent low amounts of potassium in the blood. 

The mug is in greaet shape, and the color change is near complete!
